old Episcopal Church - Ballachulish, Argyll

St John's Episcopal Church, Ballachulish, Argyll

Built in 1842, and consecrated in 1844. It replaced the former church, still standing in the burial ground, which was an old storeroom brought into use as a church circa 1777. The chancel was added in 1888. The first parsonage was built in 1834 being replaced circa 1870 by the present buiding, adjacent to the church, now a private house having been sold when Ballachulish was linked with Glencoe.
