Ardgour Parish Church

The Telford churches at Ardgour and Creag Mhor, (north) Ballachulish were built in 1829. The Quod Sacra Parish (QSP) of 'Ballachulish & Corran of Ardgour' was erected out of the Parish of Kilmallie in 1845 with a Manse at Onich.

In 1894 the two Parishes were disjoined ; Ballachulish becoming  'Onich and North Ballachulish' QSP and Ardgour uniting with Kingairloch, formerly in Lismore & Appin Parish, to form a new Parish of 'Ardgour & Kingairloch.'

The old Telford church at Creag Mhor became unsafe for public worship and, in 1911, the current building, at Onich, was erected.

In 1833 'Onich and North Ballachulish'  joined with the United Free Church, at Cuilchenna. In the 1950's the Parish changed its name to Nether Lochaber and in 1981 was linked with Kinlochleven and the Manse, at Onich, was sold.
